He is the proud father of Todd and Meagan and proud grandfather of Gavin, James, Charolett, Addie, Cecelia, and Jude.

After graduating from Capital University Mark began working at The Jae Company in Columbus, Ohio in the summer of 1973. He purchased the company in 1987. In addition to owning The Jae Company he has subsequently started three additional companies which he continues to be actively involved in. This year he will be completing his 45th year of employment,

During his career at Ashland High School Mark participated in football, basketball and baseball. As two year starting quarterback and Co-Captain in football he set numerous school passing records and received first team All-Conference in 1968 his senior year. In basketball he played on two Cardinal Conference Championship teams and two Sectional Championship teams in 1968-69.
