Jody has always been surrounded by sports enthusiastic people and

and support. Loudonville began forming girls’ youth softball

they earned State Runners-Up in the OHSAA tournament. She received
Honorable Mention awards in all three sports in the Mid-Ohio Conference.
In her junior year, the volleyball team made another trip to the State
Tournament. She made Mid-Ohio Conference First Team in all three sports that year.
In her junior year in 1983-84, Jody was the setter for the volleyball
team and though they lost in the regional final game that year, she
received First Team All-State. In basketball, she ended her career with
1,125 points. She earned First Team MOC in all three sports. She received
the Class of 1984 Jack Augustine Scholar/Athlete Award.
After graduating from Loudonville High School, she attended the
University of Akron and graduated with a bachelor’s degree teaching
Special Education. She took a teaching position at the CE Budd School in
Loudonville and is currently finishing her twentieth year. Over the years,
